Our Programs
Every student's path looks different. MySchool@Kent is a Kent ISD program offering flexible online and blended learning for eligible middle and high school students from Kent County public school districts and Public School Academies (PSAs), through local enrollment and referral processes.
Students may enroll full-time or part-time in middle or high school. High school students may also take individual a la carte courses, credit recovery, AP and NCAA course options when available, and flexible scheduling.
Students learn online with support from our onsite Michigan-certified instructors, interventionists and mentors. High school credits and diplomas remain with the sending school district.

Course availability and eligibility should be confirmed with the student's school counselor or local district. All enrollments must be submitted by the student's school counselor, registrar or administrator.

MySchool@Kent
MySchool@Kent gives students more control over how they learn, without removing the support they need to succeed. Students complete their coursework online with a flexible schedule and pace, while staying connected to in-person support, academic coaching, and a team that keeps them focused and moving forward.
Students can take some or all of their classes through MySchool, depending on their goals and individual needs. Whether they are working to recover credits, get ahead, or create a schedule that fits their life, MySchool@Kent provides a structured path forward.
Families and districts rely on MySchool@Kent as a flexible option that keeps students engaged, supported, and progressing toward graduation.
MyMiddleSchool@Kent - M2S
This program directly impacts 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. Set up similarly to MS@K, M2S offers face-to-face time with educators, support staff and customized grade-appropriate content. Whether the goal is to continue on to MS@K or return to the sending school, we concentrate on educational stamina and reading/mathematics to prepare for High School success.
MySchool@Kent - SuccessLink
What is SuccessLink?
SuccessLink is a program within MySchool@Kent that provides many of the same services (face-to-face certified staff, online instructors, a laptop, flexibility) at different locations throughout Kent County. This provides locations closer to home for students to attend their face-to-face sessions.
For students seeking a smaller, intimate learning environment, we partner with community organizations to host an off-site option for our students. For those not permitted in a traditional school, SuccessLink can be the perfect option to maintain those face-to-face relationships while continuing online education. We also offer a 100% Virtual option for those who are long-term suspended or expelled.
A La Carte Classes
A La Carte Classes are one of MySchool@Kent’s high school program options. High school students can take one or two online courses while remaining enrolled at their local school.
This option may help when a high school student needs a course their school does not offer, an additional class, credit recovery, or an AP or NCAA course option when available. The student’s school counselor or administrator coordinates enrollment and confirms course eligibility and credit.
A La Carte Classes are different from full-time enrollment, where a student takes their full class load through MySchool@Kent. Learn more about A La Carte Classes and Individual Courses or contact MySchool@Kent.

Course Plus - for KCTC Students
Only for KCTC students, Course Plus is perfect for those who may be credit deficient or have a scheduling issue. Offering a wide variety of classes, students can earn that one extra credit they are looking for to meet graduation requirements. Full online support is still offered, and the student connects with the MS@K team for testing and face-to-face support if needed.
Flexibility is real.
